JAKARTA - Telkomsel has improved and strengthened its network quality, especially 4G networks in 5 super priority tourist destinations in the country. Telkomsel has increased the capacity of the broadband network for tourist destination locations, namely in Lake Toba, Likupang, Borobudur, Mandalika, and Labuan Bajo to serve the communication needs of tourists.

Telkomsel Network Director, FM Venusiana R said "We continue to support the government to advance tourism throughout Indonesia, and in particular we have strengthened and added our 4G broadband network, especially in 5 super priority destinations which are the focus of the government this year, this is given that the potential Indonesian tourism is very large and the number of tourists from abroad also continues to grow every year. This is also to support and encourage the formation of digital ecosystems in these 5 locations."

To support the accessibility of broadband networks in these 5 super priority tourist spots, Telkomsel has added 4G BTS infrastructure to more than 330 4G BTS.

To date, Telkomsel has built more than 209,000 BTS, of which 160,000 are 4G and 3G BTS. In addition, around 14,990 BTS included BTS in the 3T areas to the borders of Indonesia. (LM)
