JAKARTA. The Ministry of Transportation's budget realisation in 2019 reached Rp 39.4 trillion or 88.88% of the allocated Rp 44.3 trillion.
"From an allocated budget of Rp 44.3 trillion in 2019, we used 88.8% or Rp 39.4 trillion, up 4% from the previous year," said Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi at the JS Luwansa Hotel, South Jakarta on Monday (27/1).
In addition, the ministry's non-tax state revenue also surpassed its initial target. "The Ministry of Transportation's non-tax state revenue reached Rp 9.45 trillion, 109.32% of the initial target," said Mr Sumadi.
According to Mr Sumadi, the realisation came from seven echelon I units, with four units surpassing target, namely the General Secretariat, the Directorate General of Land Transportation, the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, and the Transportation Human Resource Development Agency (BPSDM).
