JAKARTA. The government targets to obtain Rp 2 trillion from the issuance of Retail Saving Bond (SBR) series SBR009, same as the realization last year.
Luky Alfirman, Director General of Budget Financing and Risk Management at the Ministry of Finance, said SBR009 will be sold from 27 January to 13 February 2020. "Considering public interest, we are targeting Rp 2 trillion (from the selling of) SBR009," Alfirman was quoted as saying by Bisnis Indonesia on Wednesday (29/1) today.
Alfirman added, the target of the bond is millenials. Therefore, SBR009 can be purchased online. "This is to accommodate and attract many young people," he explained.
For information, SBR009 is offered with a coupon of 6.3%. This interest will be adjusted to the BI 7 Day Reverse Repo Rate every 3 months. The price of the bond varies from Rp 1 million to Rp 3 billion. (KR/AR)
