PURA aims to double its gross profit this year

JAKARTA. PT Putra Rajawali Kencana Tbk (PURA) aims to double its gross profit to Rp 36 billion through expansion, after carrying out an Initial Public Offering (IPO). 

Ariel Wibisono, Director of PURA, said that in 2019, the company generated Rp 87 billion in revenue and Rp 18 billion in gross profit. "To achieve this target, the company will maximize the Rp 189 billion obtained from the IPO," Wibisono explained to Bisnis Indonesia on Wednesday (29/1) today.

Proceeds from the IPO will be allocated to purchase new fleets. The additional fleet is estimated to cost around Rp.89 billion to Rp.100 billion.

As much as 39% of the budget will be used to buy new trucks. While 44% is to buy used trucks, and the rest is for accessories and coachwork. (KR/AR)
