JAKARTA. President Director of PP Properti Taufik Hidayat said the company could record marketing sales of Rp 3.8 trillion this year, 67.40% higher than last year's realization of Rp 2.27 trillion.
"From pre-sales revenue of Rp 3.8 trillion, around Rp 821 billion can be recognized as revenue. The remaining Rp 2.9 trillion can only be recognized in 2021," Taufik was quoted as saying by Bisnis.com.
According to Taufik, the performance of the property sector last year was quite sluggish, due to the uncertainty in the political year. As a result, more buyers choose not to purchase property products. Nevertheless, the prospect of the property sector is believed to be better this year.
He explained, the property sector will grow thanks to a number of tax incentives and a stable political and economic situation. (AM/AR)
