JAKARTA - PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) has denied that the shares of PT J Resources Nusantara in PT Gorontalo Sejahtera Mining were taken over by PT Pani Bersama Tambang. This was announced by PSAB's management following media reports on the rumoured takeover on Tuesday (4/2).
PSAB's management has affirmed that J Resources Nusantara remains the owner of a 99% stake in Gorontalo Sejahtera Mining and that there has not been any agreement regarding a takeover with Pani Bersama Tambang. This is because of prior requirements that both companies need to meet, especially regarding approval from PSAB's creditors.
Previously, PT Pani Bersama Tambang made a public announcement about its plan to take over the majority ownership of Gorontalo Sejahtera Mining. (LK/MS)
