JAKARTA - Jakarta Metro Expressway (JME), a consortium consisted of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META), PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI), PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST), and PT Triputra Utama Selaras, will build the 21 km Ulujami-Jati Asih Toll Road with an investment of Rp 21.5 trillion.
As quoted from the company's disclosure, Dahlia Evawani, Corporate Secretary of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META) said that JME had obtained an initiative permit for the construction of the Ulujami-Jati Asih toll road on 21 January 2020. "The construction of the elevated toll road will connect Jati Asih-TMII-Pondok Indah-Ulujami, and it is proposed to be included in the JORR III network," he said.
According to him, the new toll road section will reduce the traffic at JORR and maximize traffic capacity at JORR if it is integrated with the Jakarta-Cikampek II Elevated Toll Road. For the company, this project will increase its revenue and total asset value up to five times. (LK/AR)
