Wika aims to record new contract value growth of 50%

JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. aims to record 50% growth in its new contract value this year. The company is optimistic that it can meet the target,  with a number of projects that will be worked in Indonesia and abroad.

President Director of Wijaya Karya, Tumiyana, said that in 2019, the company obtained new contracts with a total value of Rp.41.6 trillion. With a growth target of 50%, the company is targeting new contract value of Rp. 62.4 trillion.

According to Tumiyana, the new contracts will come from a number of large-scale projects, both domestically and abroad. "There is one [project] in Bandung which is quite large, then in Taiwan there will also be another large one," he explained as quoted by Bisnis.com in Jakarta on Wednesday (5/2).

The company aims to record Rp 52 trillion in revenue this year, 26% higher than last year's realization. Meanwhile, net profit is expected to grow by 18%. (AM/AR)
