Ministry of Industry to bring 170 industry players to Hannover Messe 2020

JAKARTA - Indonesia continues to prepare for participation in the world's largest industrial technology exhibition, the Hannover Messe 2020. In the exhibition, which will be held on 20-24 April 2020 in Hannover, Germany, Indonesia's national pavilion will feature more than 170 co-exhibitors in the area covering an area of ​​3,000 square meters.

"The preparation of Indonesia to become the partner country of the Hannover Messe 2020 has been started since 2018. Various stages have been carried out by the Government of Indonesia, particularly the Ministry of Industry, which includes coordination between Ministries / Institutions to the socialization and selection of participants," said Director General of Regional Resilience and International Industrial Access (KPAII) Ministry of Industry, Doddy Rahadi in Jakarta, Saturday (8/2).

In a Technical Meeting with the Hannover Messe 2020 exhibitors some time ago, the Director General of KPAII said, in addition to promoting industry players, the Indonesian delegation would also present Indonesian research and startup institutions and appoint them in seminars and conferences, both in the Indonesian pavilion and in activities that were scheduled by the organizer. The Indonesian Pavilion with the theme "Making Indonesia 4.0" will be divided into three areas, namely the General Purposes Area (Conference, Business Meeting area), Making Indonesia 4.0 Area, and the Hannover Messe Display Category Area.

A number of companies in the five priority sectors of Making Indonesia 4.0 will participate in the Hannover Messe 2020, including industries that will appear in the Hannover Messe display category, namely Automation, Motion and Drives, Digital Ecosystems, Energy Solutions, Engineered Parts & Solutions, and Future Hub.
