JAKARTA - PT Pegadaian (Persero) plans to issue bonds with a total value of Rp 10 trillion in the next two years, and appoint PT Indopremier Sekuritas to become one of the underwriters.
PT Pegadaian (Persero) 's Director of Finance and Strategic Planning, Ninis K Adriani, said that the funds from the bonds will be used as additional capital expenditure (CapEx) budget in order to help the company carry out its business plans.
In addition to PT Indopremier Sekuritas, other companies appointed as underwriters were PT Bahana Sekuritas, PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT BNI Sekuritas, and Mandiri Sekuritas.
However, Ninis said that the total value of bonds to be issued by the company would be highly dependent on market conditions. "Later we will discuss with the underwriters and also depend on the market", he said in Jakarta on Friday (14/2).
He hopes that the bond issuance can attract investors' interest. Regarding the total value of bonds to be issued in 2020, the company is still considering it. (ARM/AR)
