KAI and MRT Jakarta established a subsidiary

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and PT Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta (MRTJ) established PT Moda Integration of Jabodetabek Transportation, a joint venture in the field of integrated railways in Jabodetabek.

As quoted from the disclosure of company information, Friday (13/2), the authorized capital of this company amounted to Rp 80 billion, in which the paid-up capital was Rp 50 billion. The composition of shareholders namely MRTJ of 51% or IDR 25.50 billion and KAI of 49% or IDR 24.50 billion.

Agus Komarudin, Executive Vice President Corporate Secretary of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) said that this new business will support the operational activities of the group because it is related to transportation integration. This subsidiary was formed in Jakarta on Wednesday (12/2). (LK)
