JAKARTA. PT Tiphone Mobile Indonesia Tbk (TELE), a retail company selling mobile phones and its accessories, has its shares and bonds suspended by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) starting today.

The suspension was done because TELE failed to pay the principal of its Shelf Registration Bonds II phase I/2019, which reached Rp 53 billion. In addition, the company also has not paid the fourth coupon of the bonds.

"The Exchange asks related parties to always pay attention to the disclosure of information submitted by the issuer [TELE]," said BEI in its official announcement.

According to the official statement made by the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), the payments must be made by TELE today (18/2). (KR/AR)
