BRI Agro allocates Rp 48.50 billion as retained earnings

JAKARTA - PT BRI Agroniaga Tbk (AGRO) Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) decided not to distribute dividends from the 2019 net profit of Rp 51.06 billion. The decision was approved by 100% of the voting owners whose shares were held at the Annual GMS which took place yesterday (19/2).

As quoted from the disclosure of corporate information, Friday (21/2), BRI Agro's management decided that net profit was allocated as a reserve allowance of Rp 2.55 billion or 5% of net income and 95% or as much as Rp 48.50 billion as retained earnings.

In the annual GMS, the shareholders ratified the appointment of Ebeneser Girsang as President Director of PT BRI Agro Tbk replacing Agus Noorsanto who was appointed as Director of Institutional and BUMN Relations of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI). Previously, Girsang served as BRI Agro's Credit Risk and Funding Control Director.

In addition, Herry Prayudi, who previously served as BRI Agro's Compliance Director, was appointed as Risk and Management Director and Ernawan, who originally served as Operations and Finance Director, was appointed as Director of Legal Compliance and Human Capital. (LK)
