JAKARTA - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) postponed the signing of the cooperation agreement for PTBA's gasification in the United States which was originally scheduled for 14 March 2020.
President Director of PTBA, Arviyan Arifin said the plan and also a number of other projects were postponed due to the outbreak of a new coronavirus (COVID-19).
"The plan is to sign the cooperation agreement for PTBA's gasification in the United States when President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo attends the ASEAN-US Special Summit. But because there was a corona outbreak, US President Donald Trump postponed the international conference, so the signing will be rescheduled," he said.
Previously, US President Donald Trump invited the leaders of 10 ASEAN countries to meet in Las Vegas after he was not present at the ASEAN Summit in Bangkok in November last year. (ARM/AR)
