JAKARTA - PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk generated Rp 4.1 trillion in net profit in 2019, 18% lower than the figure recorded in 2018 of Rp 5.02 trillion.
President Director of Bukit Asam, Arviyan Arifin, said that the decline was mainly caused by the low coal prices. "2019 was relatively difficult. However, thanks to our efforts to improve efficiency, PT Bukit Asam has managed to record a profit of more than Rp 4 trillion," he said.
The company's financial report also shows that the company recorded an EBITDA of Rp 6.4 trillion and operating income of Rp 21.8 trillion. (ARM/AR)
