JAKARTA. The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) has confirmed that an employee of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) has passed away due to the effect of the coronavirus or Covid-19.
Arya Sinulingga, Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs, said that a number of other TLKM employees who had interacted with the victims were quarantined. "People who are indeed related to his work environment [victims] can immediately be localized in self-quarantine," Sinulingga said as quoted by Kontan on Tuesday (17/3) yesterday.
In addition, Sinulingga claimed the victim's workplace had been previously cleaned. "We have anticipated it beforehand," said Sinulingga.
Previously, the victim was declared as not infected by Covid-19 by the Ministry of Health. (KR/AR)
