JAKARTA. PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGAS) affiliated with PT Pertamina (Persero), will soon conduct a commercial trial on the Gresik-Semarang gas pipeline network.
Zainal Abidin, Communication and CSR Manager of Pertagas, said that the gas pipeline network is an open-access one. The 268-kilometer pipeline has a capacity of 400 MMSCFD.
"The Gresik-Semarang gas pipeline network will be supplied by the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Project owned by PT Pertamina EP Cepu," Abidin explained in a press release on Wednesday (18/3) yesterday.
For information, the construction of the Gresik-Semarang gas pipeline network was undertaken by a consortium of PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA), Rabana, and Kelsri. The gas pipeline construction was carried out with an investment of US$ 250 million. (KR/AR)
