JAKARTA. PT Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk (ZINC) targets to record US$ 80 million to US$ 85 million in zinc and lead concentrates sales in 2020.
Director of Kapuas Prima Coal, Hendra Susanto William said to pursue the target, his party will try to maximize its monthly Zinc production capacity of 50,000 tons per month, so that this year the company is expected to be able to produce as much as 600,000 tons of ore.
ZINC produced 476,000 tons of ore in 2019, recording a growth of 39.40% YoY. "The realization exceeds the planned target of 450,000 tons," Hendra said as quoted by Kontan.co.id on Tuesday (3/24).
His party will continue to increase production in anticipation of fluctuations in the price of zinc, lead, which is a risk that has often occurred. "So that our cash flow can run smoothly," Hendra said.
Regarding the impact of corona on export activities, Hendra hopes that this outbreak will not have too much effect on export performance because ZINC has secured sales contracts until June 2020. (AM/AR)
