JAKARTA. The government announced that the total number of coronavirus (Covid-19) cases in Indonesia has reached 893 cases, with 78 of them passed away.
Achmad Yurianto, Spokesperson for Covid-19, said the number was recorded as of noon today (26/3) at 12.00 WIB. "We see that there are 103 new positive cases. The total number is 893, "Yurianto said in a press conference.
Yurianto explained that the majority of cases were found in DKI Jakarta. In addition, said Yurianto, there were some new cases found in the South Sulawesi (Sulsel) region. "(In) South Sulawesi, there are also a number of additional cases, about 14," said Yurianto.
Meanwhile, the number of recovered Covid-19 patients only increased by 4 to 35 people. (KR/AR)
