JAKARTA. PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) recorded very good performance in 2019, with 36.8% revenue growth and 34.98% net profit growth.
MDKA's revenue in 2019 reached US$ 402.03 million and its net profit reached US$ 70.82 million.
Corporate Secretary of MDKA, Adi Ariansyah Sjoekri, said MDKA's achievements last year were mainly caused by the 19.02% growth in gold sales, from 184,000 oz in 2018 to 219,000 oz.
Last year, MDKA also managed to surpass its gold production target of 180,000 - 200,000 oz by producing 223,042 oz of gold.
However, the company's copper production in 2019 was lower than expected (16,777 tons from the target of 18,000 tons). (AM/AR)
