JAKARTA - PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) or Alfamart posted a profit of Rp 1.11 trillion for the 2019 fiscal year. This figure increased by 72.12% compared to the achievements in the previous year of Rp 650.14 billion.
The increase in profits was supported by the company's revenue which also increased 9.17% on an annual basis from Rp 66.82 trillion in 2018 to Rp 72.94 trillion in 2019. However, the company's cost of goods sold also grew 8.97 and general and administrative expenses rose 4.14%.
In addition, AMRT succeeded in obtaining other revenues of Rp 1.13 trillion as well as reducing finance cost by 24.72%. Thus, the company's earnings per share could grow from Rp 15.66 per share in 2018 to Rp 26.79 per share in 2019. (LM)
