JAKARTA - PT Destinasi Tirta Nusantara Tbk (PDES) recorded a net loss of Rp 14.8 billion for the 2019 fiscal year. This was caused by a decrease in PDES revenue by 10% to Rp 461.92 billion.
For information, last year PDES still recorded a net profit of Rp 3.51 billion. The decline in revenue in 2019 was driven by the decline in the performance of travel packages which account for 87% of total PDES revenue. On the other hand, the vehicle rental segment rose 16% on an annual basis to Rp 59.19 billion.
With this loss, the loss per share of PDES in 2019 reached Rp 20.71 per share. Whereas last year, PDES recorded a earnings per share of Rp 4.91. (LM)
