Golden Investments increases its stake in Stanmore Australia

JAKARTA - Golden Investments (Australia), Pte, Ltd (GI), a subsidiary of Golden Energy and Resources Limited (GEAR), increased its stake in Stanmore by purchasing 50,316,100 shares at a price of AUS$ 1 per share on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). GEAR is a subsidiary of PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA).

As quoted from the company's disclosure on Friday (3/4), Susan Chandra, Corporate Secretary of PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) said that the shares purchased were 19.65% of the shares Stanmore had released on the stock market. "With the purchase, GI's stake in Stanmore increased from 31.35% to 51%," he said.

The purchase was made by GI on 2 April 2020. The transaction is expected to have a positive impact on the company's consolidated financial statements. (LK/AR)
