JAKARTA. PT Pertamina (Persero) recorded that oil and gas production during the first quarter (Q1) this year rose by 2% year on year (YoY) to 919 MBOEPD.
Fajriyah Usman, VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina, said the figure consists of oil production (421 MBOEPD) and gas production (2,887 MMSCFD). "Pertamina is still trying to maintain oil and gas production in accordance with the targets in the RKAP (Work Plan and Corporate Budget)," Usman said through an official statement.
Meanwhile, Dharmawan Samsu, Upstream Director of Pertamina, said the realization was supported by the company's production activities in the domestic and overseas oil and gas fields.
For information, Pertamina has also operated oil and gas fields in Algeria, through PT Pertamina International EP. This field has even contributed 156 MBOEPD during Q1 2020. (KR/AR)
