WOM Finance closes 40 of its offices due to COVID-19 pandemic

JAKARTA. PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOMF) closed 40 of its offices in various cities due to the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) spread in Indonesia.

Zacharia Susantadiredja, Director of WOMF, said that those offices have been closed since 15 April 2020, but it is uncertain when the company will reopen the offices.

"After the COVID-19 pandemic ends," Susantadiredja said through an information disclosure.

Furthermore, WOMF will transfer services in those offices to related parent branch offices.

Susantadiredja explained that the closure of those offices will have an impact on financial performance. But he could not specify the number. (KR/AR)
