17 April 2020 07:07

JAKARTA. The majority shareholder of PT Bank Artos Indonesia Tbk (ARTO) asserted there was no tender offer action on Bank Artos' shares after its rights issue, because there was no change in control.

This was revealed by the Director of PT PT Metamorfosisi Ekosistem Indonesia (MEI) Anika Faisal as quoted by Kontan.co.id on Thursday (16/4). She made sure there was no mandatory tender offer because there were no changes in control.

ARTO's majority shareholder is PT  Metamorfosisi Ekosistem Indonesia (MEI), owned by former BTPN banker Jerry N, and Wealth Track Technology Limited (WTT) owned by Northstar founder Patrick Walujo who is also an investor in Gojek. Both shareholders have exercised their rights in the rights issue.

In its disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), MEI said it had purchased 3,633,255,000 of additional Bank Artos' shares. (AM/AR)
