JAKARTA - PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) successfully recorded a net profit in the first quarter of 2020 amounting to Rp 228 billion. This figure increased by 13% compared to the same period last year of Rp 202 billion.
The increase in profits was supported by AKRA's revenue which also grew in the first quarter. AKRA's revenue in the first three months of this year was recorded at Rp 6.34 trillion, up 26.04% on an annual basis.
"AKRA fully complies with government measures on Social Distancing, but the company also supports the economic cycle while continuing to provide important products such as fuel and basic chemicals," said AKRA President Director Haryanto Adikoesoemo as quoted from Bisnis.
Based on business segments, revenues from the fuel oil business were recorded at Rp 4.85 trillion. Then, the contribution from chemical sales was recorded at Rp 1.04 trillion, from the logistics business of Rp 214 billion and from the industrial estate of Rp 140 billion. (LM)
