JAKARTA - PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) posted a net profit of Rp 2.45 trillion in the first quarter of this year. This figure increased 3.88% compared to the same period last year of Rp 2.35 trillion.
This profit growth was supported by an increase in revenue of 4.06% from Rp 26.20 trillion in Q1 2018 to Rp 27.26 trillion in Q1 2020. Sales of machine-made clove cigarettes contributed 90.83% to the revenue and the rest came from sales of hand-rolled clove cigarettes.
As reported by Bisnis, GGRM's earnings per share in the first quarter reached Rp 1,272 per share, an increase compared to the same period last year of Rp 1,224 per share. (LM)
