JAKARTA. As of 30 April 2020, PT BFI Finance Tbk has approved the request of 12,000 debtors who requested credit restructuring, mostly for car ownership loans.
Referring to POJK No.11 / POJK.03 / 2020 concerning National Economic Stimulus, the ones eligible for credit restructuring are debtors and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who have difficulty in making payments due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on their businesses/work.
Corporate Communication Head of BFI Finance Dian Ariffahmi said that as of 30 April, 30,000 debtors have applied for credit restructuring, while BFI Finance only approved the request of 12,000 of them.
To control the number of debtors, Dian said that her party had set a number of criteria for credit restructuring. (AM/AR)
