JAKARTA - PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (PJAA) recorded a loss of Rp 10.44 billion in the first quarter of 2020. In the same period in 2019, the company managed to record a profit of Rp 10.88 billion.
As quoted from the company's financial statements for the first quarter of 2020 published on Tuesday (12/5), the decline in profit was due to a decline in revenue to Rp 218.82 billion from Rp 266.64 billion recorded in the same period in 2019. The company's gross profit and operating profit also declined to Rp 78.02 billion and Rp 17.60 billion.
The decline was experienced by almost all of PJAA's business segments, except hotels and restaurants. The biggest decrease in income occurred in the revenue from ticket which fell to Rp 150.41 billion from Rp 190 billion recorded in the first quarter of 2019. (LK/AR)
