Gojek has collaborated with Pluang to offer digital gold savings service

JAKARTA. Gojek, an online transportation provider platform, has collaborated with Pluang to provide digital gold savings in the GoInvest menu.

According to a report from KrASIA, Gojek had been involved in the Series A funding round for Pluang in 2019. Gojek invested US$ 3 million through its subsidiary engaged in the venture capital business, Go-Ventures.

The new service allows Gojek users to buy gold at the lowest price and sell gold at the highest price. GoInvest also claims to have received certification from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).

For information, Pluang began operating since 2018 under the name EmasDigi and its main business is micro-savings. The name of the platform was later changed to Pluang, with a diversified investment business into gold. (KR/AR)
