BNI issues NCD worth Rp 1.39 trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) issued negotiable certificate of deposits worth Rp 1.39 trillion yesterday (12/5). The joint arrangers are PT BNI Sekuritas, PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, and PT BCA Sekuritas.

As quoted from the company's disclosure on Wednesday (13/5), Meiliana, Corporate Secretary of PT BNI Tbk (BBNI) said the value of the certificates is less than 20% of the company's equity. "The funds from the issuance of the certificates will be used for credit expansion," she said.

The certificate of deposits are issued in four series; Series A (Rp 400 billion with 3-month tenor and an interest rate of 5.40% per year), Series B (Rp 580 billion with 6-month tenor and an interest rate of 5.60% per year), Series C (Rp 50 billion with 9-month tenor and an interest rate of 5.70% per year) and Series D (Rp 360 billion with 12-month tenor and an interest rate of 5.80% per year).

The purchase price of Series A is 98.66% of the value of certificates of deposit, 97.26% for Series B, 95.87% for Series C, and 94.51% for Series D. (LK/AR)
