Many SMEs ask for loans from Investree to pay THR to their employees

JAKARTA. Investree, a peer-to-peer (p2p) lending platform from Indonesia, has distributed Rp 4.08 trillion of loans in 2020, equivalent to 71.83% of the total loan facilities that have been collected by the company which reached Rp 5.68 trillion.

Astranivari, Investree's Head of Marketing & Communications, said the achievement was supported by the increasing demand for loans from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Ranging from SMEs that need funds for the Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) for their employees, to demand from SMEs engaged in the health sector.

"This is due to the importance of helping the medical forces to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic," Astranivari explained on Thursday (21/5) yesterday, to idnfinancials.com.

Meanwhile Adrian Gunadi, Investree Co-Founder & CEO, said that his party is committed to supporting SMEs in Indonesia by giving access to funding. Thus, SMEs actors and workers in Indonesia, said Gunadi, could continue to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"So we can help them in working to overcome the spread of the virus that has claimed the lives of thousands of people," said Gunadi.

Investree admitted that at this time the Success Rate (TKB90) of loans distributed had reached 97.75%. The rate of return for lenders reaches 16% per year. (KR/AR)
