JAKARTA - Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) opened weak in early trading today (5/27). At 09.44 WIB, the Index was observed to decline by 5.84 points or 0.13% to 4,620.95. Yesterday, the JCI was recorded at 4,626.79 at closing bell.
Only three sectoral indices survived in early trade, namely the basic industrial, trade and finance sectors. The remaining seven other sectors weakened and dragged JCI into the red zone. The biggest decrease occurred in the consumer goods sector which dropped by 0.74%.
Top losers at early trading today were PT Menteng Heritage Realty Tbk (HRME), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) and PT Galva Technologies Tbk (GLVA). (LM)
