CENGKARENG - Citilink applies a "New Normal" policy in all lines of the Company's operations that cover pre-, in-, and post-flight phases for both employees and customers on flights for passengers operating since yesterday (1/6).

"Citilink today has resumed serving 104 regular passenger flights to 21 cities by implementing the 'New Normal' procedure and continuing to prioritize the safety, health and comfort aspects of passengers," Citilink President Director Juliandra said in Cengkareng, Monday (1/6).

In the pre-flight phase, Citilink cooperated with the KKP and the local COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force at each airport to check and verify the completeness of passenger documents. Citilink ensures that passengers who fly are in good condition by requiring passengers to show a COVID-19 free certificate (PCR test results or rapid tests).

Then, in the in-flight phase, Citilink applies new standards in the aircraft during the flight including seating arrangements, all passengers and crew are required to always use a mask, providing hand sanitizers throughout the aircraft, serving food and drinks with hygienic procedures, eliminating printed magazine inflight which was replaced by electronic inflight magazine that can be downloaded in each device through an entertainment system that will be available in stages in the Citilink fleet and setting the passenger’s distance when exiting the aircraft (disembark).

While in the post-flight phase, Citilink adjusts the distance when baggage is collected in the arrival area by continuing to carry out inspection and matching procedures for the checked baggage. (LM)
