JAKARTA - The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has detained four suspects in the alleged corruption case that involves the giving of financing facilities by PT Danareksa Sekuritas to PT Evio Sekuritas and PT Aditya Tirta Renata from 2014 to 2015.
Two suspects, former Danareksa Sekuritas CEO Marciano Hersondrie and former Danareksa CFO Erizal, are currently detained at the Salemba State Detention Centre in Central Jakarta while the other two suspects, Aditya Tirta Renata Director Zakie Mubarak Yos and Aditya Tirta Renata Commissioner Rennier A.R. Latief, who also owns a stake in Evio, are detained at the Cipinang State Detention Centre in East Jakarta.
“Having finished interrogation regarding the matter, all four suspects are now detained in state detention centres for 20 days,” Head of the AGO’s Legal Information Centre Heri Setiyono told the press on Wednesday (3/6) as quoted by CNN Indonesia.
AGO investigators, he added, have not released estimates of the losses suffered by the state due to the alleged corruption. The suspects have been interrogated and are now detained in order to complete case files that will later be submitted to the prosecutor and brought to court. (MS)
