Prima Cakrawala's revenue declines due to COVID-19

05 June 2020 08:04

JAKARTA - PT Prima Cakrawala Abadi Tbk (PCAR) estimates that it will only be able to record Rp 15 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, 38.49% lower than its record in Q1 2019, due to lower sales caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of that, the company estimates that it will record a loss of Rp 120 million.

Raditya Wardhana, President Director of PT Prima Cakrawala Abadi Tbk (PCAR) said that there was a decline in sales due to lockdown policies in export destination countries and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implemented in Indonesia.

"The availability of small crab also declined by 30% -50% due to social distancing, because our suppliers can only produce half of its production capacity," he said in information disclosure on Friday (5/6). (LK/AR)
