JAKARTA - PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP), manager of AirAsia airline, postponed its plan to resume operations until 19 June 2020, due to strict regulations implemented to handle the COVID-19 outbreak.
Indah Permatasari Saugi, Corporate Secretary of PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP) said that the company continues to monitor the development of the situation and prepare to resume operations.
According to him, the decision to postpone operations was taken after considering the current conditions. The extension of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in a number of regions and strict regulations caused the decline in demand for flights. (LK/AR)
