JCI slumps 122.31 points at midday break

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) slumped by 122.31 points or 2.43% to 4,912.74 at the end of session I today (10/2). Until this afternoon, the index was observed to move in the range of 4,898.65 and 5,035.05 after yesterday it was closed at 5,035.05.

All sectoral indices weakened and dragged the JCI into the red zone. The biggest declines were recorded in the property and financial sectors, which fell by 3.26% and 3.4%, respectively.

Today's top LQ45 losers are PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI), PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI). (LM)
