JAKARTA - PT Pinnacle Persada Investama has declared its support for the Attorney General's Office's (AGO) investigation on PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) as it has been implicated in the case.
In a press release published on Friday (26/6), Pinnacle's management said it has not received a notice on its status as a suspect from the AGO. The company said it will examine its status further.
"Pinnacle Persada Investama has been cooperative throughout the legal process and supportive of the government's handling of the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya case," the company wrote.
According to the company's management, Jiwasraya took no part in any mutual fund or exchange traded fund (ETF) managed by Pinnacle other than the Pinnacle Dana Prima Mutual Fund. "Regarding our status [as a suspect], we would like to announce that it has no impact on the company's operation and the management of its mutual funds and other ETFs," it said.
Pinnacle said it is committed to supporting the government's effort to solve the Jiwasraya case and remaining cooperative throughout the legal process. It has also asked customers to remain calm and confide in the company's effort to protect them. (LK/MS)
