JAKARTA - PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) expects the construction of the second phase of Bangkanai Gas Engine Power Plant (PLTMG), North Barito, Central Kalimantan to be completed in the third quarter of 2020.
In a press release published on Monday (29/6). Novel Arsyad, President Director of PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) said the company is optimistic it will complete the project in September 2020. "The company is responsible for completing the project in cooperation with our consortium partners, Wartsila Finland Oy and Wartsila Indonesia," he said.
According to him, this PLTMG uses duel fuel technology, gas and diesel fuel. The 140 Megawatt (MW) power plant project is claimed to be environmentally friendly and also fuel-efficient. The investment for the power plant reached Rp 780 billion and is intended to supply electricity to South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. (LK/AR)
