JAKARTA - The General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) yesterday (30/6) decided to distribute a dividend of Rp 8 per share or a total of Rp 26.2 billion.
For information, SMDR's total service revenue in 2019 was recorded at US$ 438.85 million, down 8.61% from the previous year's achievement of US$ 482.44 million. Based on the company's financial statements that ended on December 31, 2019, SMDR recorded an impairment and loss of sales of fixed assets of US$ 67.24 million. Therefore, the company posted a net loss of US$ 38.36 million last year.
However, SMDR remains optimistic about its performance in 2020, considering that the company as of May has achieved a net profit of US$ 4.9 million. As of May, the company's revenue has also reached US$ 211.7 million, growing 19% from the same period last year. (LM)
