JAKARTA - PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), a telecommunications company, has spent Rp 134.44 billion of its total buyback budget of Rp 500 billion in the last three months since 6 April 2020.
As quoted from the company's disclosure published on Monday (6/7), Ranty Astari Rachman, Corporate Secretary of PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) conveyed that the number of shares repurchased by the company reached 56,487,800 shares with an average price of Rp 2,376 per share. The company still has a budget of Rp 365.55 billion for the buyback," he said.
As for the buyback plan, the maximum number of shares allowed to be repurchased by the company is 2,137,592,085 shares with a maximum purchase price of Rp 2,500 per share.
He said that the repurchased shares have no voting rights at the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) and were not taken into account in determining the number of quorum that had to be achieved in accordance with the law. (LK/AR)
