JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) rose by 64.48 points or 1.3% to 5,051.92 at midday break today (8/7). Until this afternoon, JCI was seen moving in the range of 4,987.08 and 5,059.62 after it was closed at 4,987.08 yesterday.
The mining sector was the only sector that weakened in trading session I. The remaining nine other sectors strengthened and pushed JCI into the green zone. The biggest increase occurred in the financial sector which grew by 2.67%.
LQ45's top gainers in session I today are PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP), PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) and PT Mills Paper Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM). (LM)
