JAKARTA. The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) announced that one of the seven companies that would relocate their investment to Indonesia, will conduct a groundbreaking phase of its production facilities this week.

"After the President announced the matter of investment relocation on 30 June, there are companies that have started groundbreaking," said Tina Talisa, Spokesperson for BKPM, at the end of last week through an official statement.

However, Talisa has not yet mentioned which company that will start the groundbreaking. However, she stressed that BKPM will continue to oversee the investment realization of the seven companies that will relocate their investments to Indonesia. "We continue to facilitate them until the construction phase starts," said Talisa.

In the first phase, the Indonesian government estimated that the potential investment value of the seven companies may reach US$ 850 million or around Rp 11.9 trillion. (KR/AR)
