JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WKST) injected Rp 620 billion additional capital into PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR), which will be given as loans to WTR's subsidiaries.
Shastia Hadiarti, Senior Vice President of WSKT, said that the additional capital injection was also given to anticipate a dilution in the company's shares in WTR. The company believes that WTR's subsidiaries are also in need of fresh funds, to complete their toll road projects.
"It will indirectly affect the company as a contractor in the construction of the toll road segment owned by WTR subsidiaries," Hadiarti said through information disclosure.
Before the capital injection, WSKT's stake in WTR was recorded at 80.56%. Then 11.15% shares of WTR were owned by PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) and 8.29% owned by PT Taspen (Persero). (KR/AR)
