JAKARTA. PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) will launch asset securitisation and, for the first time, target retail investors in the corporate action.
BTN plans to securitise Rp 2 trillion worth of assets, with 10%-20% of the amount allocated to retail investors. "We will try to target retail investors for the first time," said BTN Finance, Planning, and Treasury Director Nixon L.P. Napitupulu in a virtual press conference last week.
In order to target retail investors, Mr Napitupulu said, BTN will partner PT Mandiri Manajamene Investasi and PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial. The corporate action will take place in the second semester of 2020. (AM/MS)
