JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) rose by 8.56 points or 0.17% to 5,083.55 at the end of session I today (5/8). Until this afternoon, the index was observed to move in the range of 5,059.73 and 5,093.56 after yesterday it was closed at 5,075.00.
Three sectoral indices weakened in session I, namely the property, agriculture and financial sectors. The remaining seven other sectors strengthened and pushed JCI into the green zone.
LQ45 top gainers in midday break today were PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO). (LM)
