JAKARTA - PT Bank Harda Internasional Tbk (BBHI) has denied ever issuing a non-licensed non-bank product, Forward Trade Confirmation (FTC) for its customers. This was stated by Yohanes Sutanto, Director of Bank Harda Internasional in Jakarta on Friday (7/8).

According to him, the statement was made in response to the FTC news which cornered his company. Although the news had circulated, he said, it had no significant impact on the bank's performance. "Bank Harda has clarified the matter in the mass media," he said.

Previously, a rumor circulated regarding FTC transactions between Bank Harda customers and PT Hakim Putra Perkasa (HPP), the controlling shareholder of Bank Harda.

Yohanes said that his party will optimize internal supervision so that similar rumuors do not circulate again. On the other hand, the management of Bank Harda is currently approaching strategic investors. "In the near future, Bank Harda will hold a preliminary meeting with these strategic investors," he said.
