JAKARTA. PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Tbk (AISA) will try to raise capital through a private placement and rights issue. PT Pangan Sejahtera will take part in the private placement.
According to the disclosure published on the IDX website on Monday (24/8), Tiga Pilar Sejahtera will seek approval for this corporate action at its extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (EGMS) on 30 September 2020.
The number of shares to be issued in the private placement is up to 6 billion series B shares, or 55.62% of the company's paid-up and issued capital. With the exercise price set at Rp 210 per share, Tiga Pilar Sejahtera will raise a maximum of Rp 1.26 trillion. AISA will also hold a rights issue by issuing 1.5 billion of series B shares or 12.21% of the company's paid-up capital.
The issuance of new shares is done to improve the company's financial conditions. (AM/AR)
